Our Mission
The Youth Investment Network is a student-led nonprofit connecting high school students worldwide through a network of school chapters. Our mission is rooted in three core pillars: education, philanthropy, and community.
We believe that finance and investing are shaped by diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences. By connecting students from around the world, our members gain a broader understanding of global markets and investment strategies, learning from one another's unique backgrounds to become more informed, collaborative, and globally minded future finance professionals.
Through industry speaker events, simulated investment portfolios, educational workshops, and collaborative projects, members develop hands-on experience in investing and financial decision-making.
Beyond our own learning, we are committed to philanthropy by partnering with local organizations to teach financial literacy to underserved students, ensuring that our knowledge creates meaningful and lasting impact within our communities.
International School Stock Pitch Competition
The International School Stock Pitch Competition was founded by the Youth Investment Network on the belief that financial analysis, critical thinking, and investment reasoning shouldn't wait until university. The ISSPC brings together high-school students from diverse cultures and backgrounds, creating richer perspectives on markets and investing.
Judged by industry professionals and prestigious university finance clubs, the competition is an online, team based format, where teams of 5 students represent their schools, presenting an original pitch on a company of their choice. The competition is a two week process that happens once a year in May.
